WOLFWALKERS Streaming Now on Apple TV+!

WOLFWALKERS, an animation about enchanted women of the woods and a family in Ireland that takes place in 1650 will have you in tears. I will say this is one of the best movies I’ve seen all year.
WOLFWALKERS is so much more than that. My heart was heavy, as parents we are terrified to send our children out into the world, our goal is to protect them forever and always, keep them safe but we forget that, they need to spread their wings and fly, in this case, to run with the wolves.
A story about love, understanding, patience and more, it’s marvelous. I have to admit I loved listening to the character, their Irish accents had me wishing we could travel to far out lands that’s filled with history and mystique.I can’t leave out the soundtrack, it’s glorious, you’re heart will soar. WOLFWALKERS captures you to your core.

Ireland, the 1600s. Englishman Bill Goodfellowe (Sean Bean) is tasked by the malevolent Lord Protector (Simon McBurney) to kill all wolves. But after Bill’s daughter, Robyn (Honor Kneafsey), meets a shape-shifting ‘WolfWalker’, Mebh (Eva Whittaker), the fate of the wolf-pack is far from set
The film is based on Irish folk legends, based around Kilkenny, the same town in Ireland where the Cartoon Saloon company is based. Heroine Robyn Goodfellowe (voiced by Honor Kneafsey) is a young hunter, being taught by her father (Sean Bean, from Game of Thrones) to hunt wolves. I’ll be honest I had never in my life had heard of Cartoon Saloon, however after WOLFWALKER I’ve looked up there library and they’ve produced "The Breadwinner," "The Secret of Kells," and the Oscar-nominated "Song of the Sea." Co-directed by Tomm Moore and Ross Stewart and now they will deliver Apple TV first ever first-ever Academy Award (knock on wood.)
This Apple Original film is getting wild acclaim for the exquisite hand-drawn animation and wonderful, empowering storyline, it’s a must see.

Thank you Apple TV for inviting us to a Virtual Direct-to-Draw event with the Animators of WOLFWALKERS followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers. WOLFWALKERS is getting rave reviews from critics and audiences alike and recently won a coveted AFI Award and is getting shining reviews from the New York Times and more.

Here are some activity sheets that kids can enjoy.
