WELK RESORT DEALS AND STEALS!
We were invited to @welkresorts this weekend and it was spectacular! It’s literally a resort of fun, a destination for the entire family. There’s something for every age to enjoy, from toddlers, kids, teens, and adults.
The rooms are condo style, with a full kitchen and, washer and dryer . Every room is newly remodeled, gorgeous wrap around balcony and artistically decorated. The resort is massive, you may call the front desk to set up a time for the tram (golf cart) to pick you up and take you were you need to go.
You and your family are able to enjoy 5 Clubhouses featuring one colossal pool and seven large pools with 8 spas, two water slides, two kids' splash pads and playgrounds, table games, new state of the art fitness center, tennis courts, and golf course. And on Saturday nights, they have movie night by the pool, BTW, you need to eat at the pool cafe, the food on the entire menu is yummy.
You have the option of renting electric bicycles, climb a rock wall, sign up for arts and crafts, experience a escape room, axe throwing and archery, and under water VR. We signed up for the escape room, axe throwing and archery and arts and crafts. I must mention, our arts and crafts was unique, we didn’t paint, we built a BEAR!!! Yes, you choose your favorite animal and you stuff your new friend, you’ve now brought to life a little friend. My son is over the moon, he hasn’t let go of his lion. What a great bonding experience.
Now if you’re hungry and want to cook, or if you need to fill up the fridge with snacks, they have a market that carries staple items. Also, around the resort you’ll find BBQ, if you have a griller in the family, they will love this!
WELK also has a plethora of restaurants, from Pizza Hut to Canyon Grille. I have to share, there are open fire pits sprinkled through out the resort, so make sure to pack up the s’mores, you’re sure to have a few laughs and a great time!
