A JOURNAL FOR JORDAN is in theaters December 25, 2021!

Thank you Dana Canedy for sitting down and talking with us on behalf of SONY Pictures, A JOURNAL FOR JORDAN. I was honored to have caught a glimpse of Dana Canedy and her husband's love story. I’m grateful that Dana shared her husbands experience with the war in Iraq, brining to light what our war HEROS go through and what obstacles lay ahead.

As I tearfully finished this treasure of a movie, knowing I was going to speak to Dana, I was overcome with emotion and was beyond thrilled. This amazing love story had me believing in love. A JOURNAL FOR JORDON, as you know, has a tragic ending from the outset, which makes watching this incredible love story that Dana shared with Master Sargeant Charles King before he was killed in Iraq all the more heart-wrenching.

Charles wrote down more than 200 life lessons he wanted to teach their son in a blank journal before he was killed by an IED while deployed in Iraq. The lessons a varies from patriotism, standing for something more than yourself, resilience, love with all your heart and more! Charles was a quiet and thoughtful man so for him to write all this during was, it was an accomplishment and that is why his story needs to be shared with the entire world!

Please take a moment watch the entire interview, Dana is phenomenal and Charles is a treasure. Thank you Dana for sharing your story with all of us, we appreciate it and I applaud you for taking the time and giving your husband the appropriate attention that is needed. Dana and Charles, the last true gems of this world, may your story always shine.
