To celebrate Swan Princess Royal Wedding I’m sharing with you my Rose Wedding Cookie recipe!
Rose Wedding Cookie Recipe
Prep Time 45 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 1 hour
INGREDIENTS
1 cup powdered sugar
10.5 tablespoons unsalted butter room temperature
1 egg
1 teaspoon rose water
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon edible rose petals
INSTRUCTIONS
Beat with a hand mixer the butter and the sugar together until smooth and fluffy.
Add the egg and rose water and keep mixing.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and crushed rose petals.
Shape the dough into a ball with your hands, wrap it in plastic foil and refrigerate it for 30 mins.
Preheat oven at 350F.
Remove the dough from the refrigerator. Using a rolling pin, roll dough to a 1/2 inch thickness. Cut cookies any shape you want with a cookie cutter.
Place cookies on a baking sheet, bake at 350F, 12 minutes or until they are golden brown around the edges. They should remain white on top.
Remove from the oven, allow them to cool on a cooling rack.
