STAR TREK: PRODIGY Premieres on Thursday, October 28 on Paramount+!

Thank you Paramount Plus, STAR TREK: PRODIGY Voice Cast Kate Mulgrew, Brett Gray, Dee Bradley Baker, Executive Producers: Kevin Hageman, Dan Hageman and Director / Co-Executive Producer: Ben Hibon for the interviews!

The first Star Trek series aimed at attracting younger viewers, Star Trek: Prodigy “follows a group of lawless teens who discover a derelict Starfleet ship and use it to search for adventure, meaning, and salvation.”

Star Trek: Prodigy takes place in the Delta Quadrant in 2383, after the events of Star Trek: Voyager. It follows a motley crew of young aliens who must figure out how to work together while navigating a greater galaxy, in search for a better future.

These six young outcasts know nothing about the ship they have commandeered–a first in the history of the Star Trek franchise–but over the course of their adventures together, they will each be introduced to Starfleet and the ideals it represents.

Kate Mulgrew

Kate Mulgrew takes up the mantle of Captain Janeway again in the animated series Star Trek: Prodigy on Nickelodeon.

Janeway (emergency training hologram Janeway, that is) has found its crew.

That's right, Star Trek: Prodigy has filled out its ranks with the voice actors who will appear alongside Kate Mulgrew (Janeway) in the new Paramount+ animated series.

In case you need a reminder, Mulgrew will portray Janeway, a hologram that takes the form of Kathryn Janeway on board the starship of Star Trek: Prodigy

Not only are we anticipating big things in animation, but the possibilities in the live-action space have us very excited as well.”

Co-Executive Producer: Ben Hibon

Mr. Hibon directed the animated “Tale of Three Brothers” sequence in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1, which was nominated as part of Warner Bros’ VFX submission to the Academy Awards. Hibon along with David Yates also won the British Animation Award for the sequence.
