We couldn’t be more excited about Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe, this is the second feature-length film of the Phineas and Ferb series and the standalone sequel to the 2011 film Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension. It’s been five years since Phineas and Ferb ended on Disney Channel. But the beloved animated series airs on TV every day, and the episodes are now on Disney+.
Get ready to go on an adventure with our favorite brothers! Phineas and Ferb travel to outer space to save Candace after she's kidnapped by aliens!
Our story begins with Candace failing to expose her brothers to her mom and with all the shenanigans surrounding her, she and Vanessa, Dr. Doofenshmirtz's daughter, are abducted by aliens. When Phineas and Ferb see Candace being abducted they team up with Dr. Doofenshmirtz to rescue them! They blast off into space with Perry the Platypus (stowed away) to save their sister.
After watching Candace Against the Universe for the fourth time my kiddo says to me, “the more we watch it, the more I see how much the brothers love their sister and the sister finally realized that, that’s sweet.” Yes, the movie not only takes you on an adventure but it focuses on brother and sister relations, Candace, Phineas and Ferb's love for one another.
When speaking to Vincent Martella (“Phineas”), Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh (creators/executive producers) they explained Candaces relationship with Phineas and Ferb.
“We always stress to people, Candace doesn't hate her brothers, she's a fan of her brothers. She knows how special they are...”
