During my visit, I had the opportunity to attend Mr. T's last Thai Tiki Thursday pop-up event, which added an extra layer of excitement to my dining experience. This special event showcased the incredible talents of Chef Alisa, a Thai-American culinary genius who previously worked at the renowned Republique. Her expertise and passion were evident in every dish, taking the dining experience to new heights.


Special Cocktails by Bar Director Vay:


Accompanying the exquisite cuisine at Mr. T Restaurant were the special cocktails crafted by their talented Bar Director, Vay. With his creative flair and attention to detail, Vay's cocktails perfectly complemented the flavors of the dishes, adding an extra element of indulgence to the entire experience. The thoughtfully curated drink menu showcased the diversity of Thai-inspired flavors, leaving me eager to try more.




A Symphony of Flavors


The Thai Tiki Crudites, an artful combination of market-fresh vegetables, shrimp chips, and Dungeness crab dip, was a delightful way to start the meal. The vibrant colors and textures of the vegetables, paired with the creamy crab dip, created a harmonious blend of flavors that left me craving for more.


The Som Tum Country Rhodes, a medley of tomatoes, red flame grapes, Brentwood Farm corn, and a shrimp vinaigrette, was a refreshing and tangy delight. Each bite was bursting with freshness and showcased the chef's skill in balancing flavors.


A Fusion of Tradition and Creativity


The Scallops Crudo, featuring jumbo scallops with plum granita, crispy shallots, and nam jim vinaigrette, was a true masterpiece. The delicate sweetness of the scallops combined with the tangy vinaigrette created a flavor profile that was both sophisticated and satisfying.


For something heartier, the Momster Sausage with crispy rice and cabbage salad was a standout dish. The perfectly seasoned sausage paired with the crispy rice and refreshing salad created a symphony of textures and flavors that left me craving for seconds.


The innovative Fried Egg Salad, with pea tendrils, Thai herbs, and trout roe, offered a unique and refreshing twist on traditional desserts. The combination of flavors and textures was a true delight for the senses.
