KLAW, the breakthrough sneaker brand forging a new niche in the footwear industry – design-forward, super-comfortable walking shoes.
Designed in collaboration with one of New York's leading podiatrists, Dr. Nelya Lobkova, KLAW sneakers have earned the Seal of Acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association – a prestigious endorsement that means the shoes are beneficial for your foot health. KLAW joins the ranks of HOKA, New Balance and Brooks in being awarded the seal. Each step in a KLAW sneaker is bolstered by a biomechanic system that provides exceptional support in key areas of the arch, heel, midsole and forefoot.
The sneaker market has no shortage of tricked-out sneakers, cross trainers and running shoes, but lacks a stylish, comfortable walking shoe. KLAW collaborated with one of New York's leading podiatrists, Dr. Nelya Lobkova, to engineer an insole and midsole with a biomechanic system built on her years of treating foot ailments and sports injuries.
With a team of designers, technologists and art directors, they built a shoe with exceptional arch support, a deep heel cup, an ultra-light midsole, a forefoot rocker, and generous cushioning under the heel and forefoot.
The start-up’s flagship sneaker is the KLAW 528 ($148), for women and men. The forefoot rocker and the 7mm heel-to-toe drop add efficiency and propulsion to the start of every step. Additional features include:
Lightweight at just 11 ounces
Superior arch support
Lightweight midsole for shock absorption
Deep heel cup for stability in every step +ample toe box
Premium rainproof leather upper
Walking the walk for sustainability, KLAW recycles all customer returns through a partnership with non-profit Soles4Souls, which puts used goods to good use, distributing shoes and clothing to people in need across the globe.
