Homemade Microwave Puffy Paint!

Looking for a fun activity to do with your kids? Homemade Microwave Puffy Paint is cost effective and easy to do, most importantly it’s EARTH friendly.

You need:

1. one cup of flour

2. 3 teaspoons of baking powder,

3. 1 teaspoon of salt

Mix it all together with enough water to make the consistency like a pancake batter. Divide your mix into four parts and put them into snack size Ziploc baggies along with some food coloring. Then start squishing the bag to mix the color(s).

If you’re a baker this will be easy, even if you’re not, it’s still easy! Rubber band the baggies as if you were icing a cake and snip off the smallest bit of the tip.

Viola, you’re ready to start painting! Now when you’ve created you’re masterpiece, take it and pop it into the microwave for 30 seconds and watch the paint puff up, enjoy!
