Holidays with Nickelodeon!
Thank you Nickelodeon for sending us a jam-packed mailer full of Nickelodeon DVDs, cookie baking kit, and toys from their holiday catalog. We absolutely flipped out when we saw the box, P was so excited to start baking, and secretly so was I. Not only do we love our cookie recipe that I’m sharing with you below but this is when P secretly is learning math and sciences. With measurements, and mixing ingredients he knows how delicate it is to get it all right, or the cookies will taste not so good, lol.
If you are looking for some amazing Nickelodeon stocking stuffers and or gifts, your family will love Paw Patrol: Mighty Pups Charged Up,Paw Patrol: Mighty Pups Super Paws, Paw Patrol: Dino Rescue, and Paw Patrol: Jet to the Rescue! SpongeBob Rose Vanilla Bean Sugar Cookies:
To celebrate SpongeBob Square Pants here’s our favorite rose vanilla sugar bean cookie recipe. Remember it doesn’t need to come out perfect, kids and cookies make a funny combination. If you kiddo is anything like mine, he takes a bite, puts it down and picks up another one. Hope you guys have fun baking as much as we do.

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix in eggs, vanilla bean and rose water. Stir in edible rose petals, flour, baking powder and salt. Use your kitchen-aid on med-hi until combined, cookie mix will be ready when most of it sticks to the mixing paddle. Roll dough out onto a floured surface (about 1/2 inch thick), cut into shapes with SpongeBob cutters.
Bake your cookies on a parchment lined baking sheet for about 4-6 minutes. Pull them from oven before brown, allow them to cook before you start decorating.

Decorate cookies. For eyes, use full-strength white icing to pipe eyeballs. Pat smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch. Use full-strength black icing to outline eyes. Use full-strength blue icing to pipe iris. Pat smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch. Use full-strength black icing to pipe pupil. Pat smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch.
