STAR WARS: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK by the Bay!

We were recently invited to San Diego Symphony by the Bay and everything about it was gorgeous. I’d never experienced the symphony by the bay and if you haven’t either I suggest you do. There’s something magical about sitting across the bay, a cool breeze, beautiful music, and good company, it’s magical.

The San Diego Symphony is working with the Port of San Diego (Port) toward the development of a permanent, highly innovative outdoor space called Bayside Performance Park. This significant park improvement project will allow the Symphony to enhance its musical presentations and the visitor experience with an architecturally remarkable and acoustically superior stage, allow the park to become an important public resource as a viable site for a wider range of performances, and activate it year-round as a community gathering space and a landmark waterfront attraction

STAR WARS: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK was on the big screen once again with John Williams'unforgettable score, from the brassy and foreboding Imperial March to the noble “Yoda's Theme” performed by the orchestra and conducted by Larry Loh. Take a peek here at our evening. The concert features stadium seating format which also offers table seating, I highly urge you to purchase table seating, you can bring your food and have a picnic. Even if you don’t purchase a table, make sure you bring a heavy blanket to sit on, it gets cold and damp, dress in layers so you may enjoy your evening. Have a wonderful time, I hope you enjoy the concert series as much as we had.
