A Madea Family Funeral ON DVD NOW.

We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of Madea, a woman who took no prisoners, spoke the truth, kicked ass when she needed to and loved fiercely. She was what we all needed, a woman who made you believe that you could do anything you put your mind to, you could move mountains she had your back. Not only was she strong-willed but she made you laugh until you peed in your pants!

In all seriousness, it’s heartbreaking to think we won’t see Madea on the big screen. When speaking to Rome Flynn, Courtney Burrell, Ciera Payton, and KJ Smith they validated everything I ever thought of Tyler Perry Studios, that they are family, they all support one another and most importantly, are truly happy for one another’s a success. Hence, why all Madea movies are an epic success, because they bring out the best in each other.

Thank you LIONSGATE for inviting me to the reception for A Madea Family Funeral. Held at Café Club Fais Do-Do, an authentic southern restaurant that had me missing the comfort food you can only find in South. Why is food so important during such a time of sorrow because funeral food symbolizes a more important point; it really is good and comforting for the soul.

“With food, we draw strength in the reminder that there is comfort to be found as we gather around the heavenly host, whether in worship or in fellowship, whether in comfort or in sorrow.”

A joyous reunion in small-town Georgia turns into an unexpected nightmare when Madea, Joe, Aunt Bam and other family members gather for an anniversary party that turns out to be a sham. Instead of fun and relaxation, Madea and the gang soon find themselves attending an elaborate funeral that doesn't quite go according to plan.
