SNL’s longest running actor and comedian, Kenan Thompson and his producing partner, Cherie Chiles-Buchanan have created a comedy competition tour series to identify the funniest young people in the country! Kenan is passionate about finding talented young comedians and actors to hit the stage and to have a real opportunity to take their career to the next level. Kenan Thompson's Ultimate Comedy Showcase kicked off in Chicago and now heads to Atlanta and Los Angeles with the finalists competing at Caroline's on Broadway in NYC. Celebrities and industry insiders judge the competition. All comedy showcase events are open to the public.

Road to NYC was introduced in 2010 by Actor/Comedian Kenan Thompson and Executive Producer Cherie Chiles-Buchanan. They want to help comedians get to the next level by providing the ultimate NYC experience to the winners, in hopes of discovering the next big star!
15-20 top comedians will perform their best 4-5 min set to prove who‘s ready to take it to the top! These showcases are a MUST SEE!

Cherie Chiles-Buchanan is the Founder and Executive Producer of Kenan Thompson’s Road to NYC. Cherie partnered with Kenan in 2011 and they’ve provided a platform for many of today’s favorite comedians & actors. Cherie is also the Founder and CEO of simply c 360 and Young Stars 360, a multimedia entertainment organization established in 2010. Cherie and her team has been producing live talent showcases, involving celebrities, in major cities since 2011. They’ve helped discover many young kid and adult stars in the music and tv/film industry.
ADRIENNE LOPEZ, KENAN THOMPSON'S ULTIMATE COMEDY EXPERIENCE ROAD TO NYC EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Adrienne Lopez is a television producer with over 20 years of experience. She was a Vice President of Talent at Nickelodeon, Head of all Talent at HLN and was head of Talent and Development for Kenny Smith’s production company, SEG, an ITV America Company. She has also cast talent for BET, Nuvo-tv and Court TV, just to name a few. She and Kenan met when he was in the hit TV show, All That and have remained friends since then. She served as a judge for Kenan Thompson’s Road to NYC 2018 Grand Finale. She’s delighted to be back in business with Kenan and Cherie as Producer for the next production.
