Camp in the Beautiful California Hills, Ventura Ranch KOA!
I was recently invited to go Glamping and experience Ventura Ranch KOA and it was spectacular. A brief history of Ventura Ranch KOA before I dive into what a great place it is to visit with your friends and family. Ventura Ranch KOA was affected by the Thomas Fire in 2017, the Thomas Fire consumed more than 280,000 acres in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties and destroyed over 1,000 homes and structures. Ventura Ranch KOA was burnt and recently rebuilt. I had never seen it before, however, I had heard it was just as beautiful as it is now.
“Nature's beauty is a gift that cultivates appreciation and gratitude.”
The cabins are located on top of a hill, overlooking lush green trees, the fragrant scent of the lemon grove will have you craving lemonade on the coldest day and the sound of the creek will have you wanting to take a long nap. The fresh air feels amazing and it will help clear your mind. The view of the sunset, the natural light creates lush colors and it's mesmerizing.
Our cabin had a huge bedroom, the living room had a pullout couch, dining table, and the kitchen had every amenity that you would need, from microwave, coffee maker, stovetop, and refrigerator. Our yard had a super cool fire pit, picnic table, and a deck that screams out your name to bring the entire family outside and play board games, charades or Pictionary.
Ventura Ranch KOA has some pretty cool discoveries, Bigfoot Watering Hole, Clubhouse with a kitchen, Dining area, Dump Station, Nature Trails, RV Storage and Wireless Internet.
As you're planning your summer getaway, I highly suggest Ventura Ranch KOA, the cabins are a home away from home. Ventura Ranch KOA is a place where you go to bond with your family, laugh with your friends and create memories that will last forever.
Disclaimer: I would like to thank Ventura Ranch KOA for hosting us, my opinions are my own and I highly recommend going with your family. x
