Looking for the perfect staycation hotel? A magical place where you can go with your family, where the food is phenomenal, a relaxing atmosphere, luxurious and seconds away from a billion dollar remodeled shopping center? The Clement Palo Alto is exactly what and where you need to be.
Mr. Chen and his wife, An Huang Chen, have two children, two dogs, one fish and live in the San Francisco Bay Area. He’s created an oasis of peace at The Clement Hotel. The Clement Hotel is an all-inclusive boutique hotel that has 23 rooms spread apart on 3 floors, fitness room, conference room, and an awesome guitar collection. The Clement Hotel has the most amazing kitchen you’ve ever seen, it’s an open floor plan, the refrigerator is accessible by all guests, stocked to the brim with water, refreshing juices, yogurts, fruits, cheeses, anything you can think of, it’s there and you can get whatever you want whenever you need. Don’t want to eat in the dining room, no problem, order room service, it’s a full menu! When the weather is a little warmer you can eat by the pool, and the view is stunning.
The room amenities blew us away, the bathroom floor is heated, the bathroom has a Toto Toilet which my little one promptly stated it’s a “magical toilet.” The sunken bathtub gives the bathroom light and airy feel that makes you comfortable to soak all day! The mirror in the bathroom has a TV in it. A bed that you’ll never want to leave, with its Frette sheets, plush pillows, and flat screen tv, you’re officially in heaven. Listen I’m surprised we left our room to go downstairs and visit the shopping center.
Mr. Chen who’s an avid musician has a large collection of guitars, there are 5 displayed at the hotel, two over the front desk and 3 in the lounge area and you, as a guest, are invited to pick up the guitar and play! How cool would it be to have a session with Mr. Chen? The man who created this lush paradise.
The Clement hotel is minutes away from Stanford Shopping Center, it’s the premier open-air shopping and dining destination with Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Nordstrom and much more. Did you know Stanford University owns the land and not the actual buildings or stores in the shopping center. Also, unlike the rest of the campus, the shopping center and the neighboring Stanford University Medical Center are part of the city of Palo Alto. The outdoor center is 1,347,935 square feet, with 152 stores, 4 major department stores your sure to find everything that you’re looking for.
Here’s the reason why I love The Clement Hotel, personally I think vacations should be no fuss, meaning, food has to be great, drinks refreshing and atmosphere, secure, comforting and welcoming, most of all I need a hotel to be kid friendly!
