THE LEGO MOVIE 2: THE SECOND PART! EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!

Sing it with me...EVERYTHING IS AWESOME…Everything is awesome, everything is cool when your part of a team...Everything is awesome, when you're living out a dream...

Thank you Warner Brothers for inviting for a Pre-Screening and Press Junket of The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, it was AWESOME! Not only was the movie super funny, my little one was glued to his seat and hanging on every word and action that Emit did and said. What an honor to be able to interview Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Mike Mitchel, Trisha Gum, Phil Lord, Chris Miller (I met on Spider-Verse and they both remembered me!) Will Arnett, Tiffany Haddish and Stephanie Beatriz. My tummy was literally aching after all the interviews were done, I can't recall when I had laughed so hard. That’s why the movie will be a HUGE success, the cast is remarkable, unique and hilarious, you'll be left in stitches.

When we interviewed Chris Pratt and Elizabeth Banks I shared with them what my little one said, amazing how kids process things!

BelAirMommie:

Hi Chris and Elizabeth, we saw the movie the other night and afterwards as we got into the car, I say, "Do you know who voiced Emmit and Rex?" He says, "Who?" I say, "Star-Lord." He turns around, looks at me, and says,"He's cheating on Gamora." And then I go, "Wait, what?!" He says,"No, but she died. It's okay." EVERYONE starts laughing.

Chris Pratt:

Wow.

Elizabeth Banks:

It's okay, because she dead. Also, aren't you dead too? Did you die at the end? I don't remember because so many of you died.

Chris Pratt:

Oh yes. I was gone.

BelAirMommie:

What would like audience goers to walk away from the movie learning or thinking?

Chris Pratt:

I want them to say, "Wow! I have to tell everyone about LEGO." There are so many things that you can miss the first time around, you’ll be able to catch all of it by the 4th time of seeing it.

Mike Mitchel & Trisha Gum

BelAirMommie:

How long did the project take, and was there anything that you wanted to do that didn’t get done?

Mike Mitchell:

It was like two and a half years almost three years.

Trisha Gum:

Two and a half years, for us. I know it's been

a production for longer than that. But for us, yes,two and a half years.

BelAirMommie:

Did anything you really want get cut?

Mike Mitchell:

Dude, we crammed everything into this

Film. We didn't cut anything out. Maybe Garry Potter got cut out, it's the only thing I can think of.

Trisha Gum:

Yes. He just got replaced.

Mike Mitchell:

He got replaced with Larry Poppins. We like Larry Poppins way better than Garry Potter. But we didn't want to upset the Harry Potter fans.

Trisha Gum:

Yes.

Mike Mitchell:

But it's the only thing I can think of that got cut out. Like everything made--and everyone we wanted to be in it, like Ruth Bader Ginsburg and we were just trying to find empowering female figures to put in the film and we, you know, a bunch of us said, "What about Ruth Bader Ginsburg?" And from the day one, we wanted her.

We, Chris and Phil said, "Who would be fun at a wedding?" And I think it was that'someone' was, like " Ruth Bader Ginsburg!"

Phil Lord & Chris Miller

BelAirMommie:

Hi Phil and Chris, great seeing you two again! Was there anything in the movie that got cut that you wanted?

Chris Miller:

Plenty of stuff. It’s hard to remember because

Phil Lord:

All the stuff that we did get away with in the movie?

Chris Miller:

Yes everything. I don’t feel ripped off at all. But there were things that, you know, we were going to do, for about a year, this took place at a LEGO convention.

At on a family trip. And ultimately you know the way the story worked out, it really felt like it needed to be in the home. And we wanted to see what the sister’s room was like and The things that she was into. And so we felt like, oh that’s such a neat thing that like there’s this Stairway between their two worlds and maybe we should do it like that. Plus, you know, we need to leave something, in case there needs to be another one, you know, preserve something so we don’t have to start from zero next time.

Will Arnett, Tiffany Haddish & Stephanie Beatriz

Tiffany Haddish:

Yes everything is awesome.

BelAirMommie:

How’d did you feel about joining the LEGO family?

Tiffany Haddish:

I felt fantastic about it.How’d you feel watching it?

How did you feel watching me join the LEGO fans?

BelAirMommie:

We loved you.

Tiffany Haddish:

Good. Good. Absolutely loved it.

BelAirMommie:

My Kiddo loved that you changed so many times,

you kept morphing.

Tiffany Haddish:

Yes, because we’re girls right? Girls could change as many times as they want to. As long as you always tell yourself inside you can be whatever you want to be. Every day you change your hair, you change your clothes, you can be whatever, however you want to be. You the queen, you Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi. As long as you be yourself, on the inside, let that come out, you can be whatever you want on the outside. Hello!
