Thank you Disney Channel for hooking us up with Freak Friday microphone and helping us throw a stupendous party. I would post a video of us singing but really I don’t want to terrify you. I looked at all our videos and I couldn't find one decent one to post, lol. Between my kiddo and his friends that are all 5 years old, we were all off key. We were trying recreate Freaky Friday duet Cozi Zuehlsdorff and Heidi Blickenstaff and failed but we laughed super hard.
Make sure you download Freaky Friday on Disney Access, bring the kids together and belt out the tunes. Get ready to laugh and create amazing memories, the movie is outstanding. This Disney Channel Original Movie is the fifth iteration of "Freaky Friday”, the main two that I know and love is Freaky Friday (2003) was directed by Mark Waters and written by Heather Hach and Leslie Dixon, based on the novel of the same name by Mary Rodgers. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan as a mother and daughter whose bodies are switched due to a mysterious and magical fortune cookie.
Freaky Friday (1976) was directed by Gary Nelson in a screenplay written by Mary Rodgers, based on her 1972 novel of the same name. The film stars Barbara Harris and Jodie Foster in the lead roles. John Astin, Patsy Kelly, Dick Van Patten and Sorrell Booke are featured in supporting roles. Both movies are wonderful and depict a mother-daughter relationship perfectly. Children finding their identities, testing boundaries, the constant push-pull, Freaky Friday portrays parents struggle optimistically, with hope, faith and a lot of laughter.

Ellie really misses her dad who passed away a few years ago; she bickers with her younger brother and argues with Katherine who's getting ready to marry her fiancé, Mike – tomorrow. As mother and daughter quarrel, they accidentally break the treasured hourglass given to Ellie by her father and then, suddenly, they magically switch bodies.
