Little Italy Film

Are you ready for the cutest movie ever, a family-friendly film that will have you falling in love and craving pizza? Little Italy takes place in Little Italy and as we all know Italians are known for there love of food and making exceptional pizza. So much so that Little Italy Film hosted a few of us at Sur La Tab located at The Grove for Pizza cooking class. I have to say, we had so much fun learning how to bake a pizza, between the laughter, celebrating life with friends, it hits home when I hear, "you have to cook with love." Because that is exactly what we did, we cooked with love, laughter, and joy. That's exactly why Little Italy Film is a much-needed movie to see!

We had an awesome opportunity to meet the Director, Donald Petrie. Petrie has acted and guest-starred on television programs since 1976. His first directorial job was on the set of The Equalizer, a private detective television series, in 1985. Since, he has directed films such as Mystic Pizza (1988), Opportunity Knocks (1990), Grumpy Old Men (1993), The Favor (1994), Richie Rich (1994), The Associate (1996), My Favorite Martian (1999), Miss Congeniality (2000), How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), Welcome to Mooseport (2004), Just My Luck (2006) and My Life in Ruins (2009). Mr. Petrie has nailed Rom-Com and it's pure perfection.

"Cooking is all about people. Food is maybe the only universal thing that really has the power to bring everyone together. No matter what culture, everywhere around the world, people get together to eat." ~ Guy Fieri
