Thank you Disney Pixar for inviting me to the Incredibles 2 Press Junket, I haven’t laughed that hard in a really long time. This was by far one of the funniest Press Junkets, with Craig T. Nelson (“Bob Parr / Mr. Incredible,”) Holly Hunter (“Helen Parr / Elastigirl,”) Samuel L. Jackson (“Lucius Best / Frozone,”) Bob Odenkirk (“Winston Deavor,”) Catherine Keener (“Evelyn Deavor,”) Sophia Bush (“Voyd,”) Sarah Vowell (“Violet Parr,”) Huck Milner (“Dash Parr,”) Director Brad Bird, Producer Nicole Grindle and Producer John Walker.
A movie about family, love, growth and so much more, will have you in stitches, not only was the movie “incredible” the Press Junket was outstanding. It’s been almost 14 years since the first Incredibles (2004) and Huck Milner who wasn’t born yet has been cast as the voice of Dash. We had a chance to ask to ask Huck when he watched the first Incredibles and what he thought of it.

MODERATOR: So Huck. When did you see the first movie for the first time and how did it come about that you were going to be a part of Incredibles 2?
HUCK MILNER: Well, I saw the first movie when I was like five or something.
MODERATOR: He was becoming a man, lol.
HUCK MILNER: My dad showed me it. Because he really loved the first one. And I really loved it, too. And my favorite character was Dash probably.
MODERATOR: That’s unexpected.
HUCK MILNER: And when I got the audition, I just was watching the movie over and over again and when my mom got sick of watching it, I used the audition as an excuse to watch it again.
MODERATOR: What was it like being at the premiere the other day with everyone that you have made the movie with? Especially because you were such a big fan of the first one.
HUCK MILNER: It was amazing and overwhelming. Because like in the beginning when I got out of the car, everyone was like sign this, sign this. And I’m not used to that. And then when I got inside, I felt more welcome and I felt, it was just really amazing to be there.

Craig T. Nelson on being the stay at home dad while Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) is saving the world!
CRAIG T. NELSON: In the movie, too. I’m on board with Huck. I auditioned. And my mom got angry. No, wait a minute. That’s a whole other thing. I was resentful when I was told where Mr. Incredible was going to be in this film. Not saving lives. Not exhibiting any kind of strength at all.
MODERATOR: You exhibit the biggest kind of strength.
CRAIG T. NELSON: Oh, be quiet. Yeah. We argued about it. And then I found out that I’m going to be helping save the family. And Bob is going to learn how to be a dad and he’s going to learn about these kids. And then the process started when we were recording. It was just so much fun. The stuff I did with Violet and the two of us together and Jack-Jack and that whole discovery. And then Dash. Then having to deal with Elastigirl out there doing what I want to do and being able to give her the encouragement. Let her know that everything is okay. It was just a lot of fun. I’m so honored to be a part of it. To be doing this.

Seeing the entire cast interact was absolutely amazing, Samuel L Jackson was exactly how you’d picture him, he’s the one and the only person who could voice Frozone. Calm, cool, and collected, the epitome of suave. His zest for life is contagious, when he speaks, he’s mesmerizing. When Holly Hunter made a comment: “Well, I didn’t read a screenplay. Because there wasn’t really one.” SAMUEL L. JACKSON replied: You didn’t see the whole script?
Just that one line had everyone laughing. He is INCREDIBLE!
One of the many reasons I love Disney is because their foundation, the very core of Disney, is family. It’s relevant when you see the cast together, they have an unbreakable bond, that’s the glue that keeps them together as a family and why this movie will be an instant success. It’s an added bonus that the film that they’re in is about a superhero family that loves one another.
INCREDIBLES 2 opens in theatres everywhere on June 15th!
In “Incredibles 2,” Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose super powers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.
Written and directed by Brad Bird (“Iron Giant,” “The Incredibles,” “Ratatouille”) and produced by John Walker (“The Incredibles,” “Tomorrowland”) and Nicole Grindle (“Sanjay’s Super Team” short, “Toy Story 3” associate producer), Disney•Pixar’s “Incredibles 2” busts into theaters on June 15, 2018.
