Pirates Dinner Adventure was founded in 1997 with the goal of bringing joy and family-friendly entertainment to the public. The company has since expanded beyond its birthplace in Florida to Buena Park, California, where Pirate's Dinner Adventure became renowned for its exemplary service, facilities and high-class entertainment. Located one block from the country's first theme park and world famous Knott's Berry Farm, the Buena Park venue has since given birth to two spectacular theater shows: Pirates Dinner Adventure "Legend of the Loch Ness Monster" and Teatro Martini- Orange County’s Hottest Variety Show.
Since 2006, Pirates Dinner Adventure has been the home of Captain Sebastian the Black and his dastardly pirates as they recreate the tales of their swashbuckling adventures. The world's most interactive dinner show plays seven nights a week inside the Treasure Bay Theater, where the Legend of the Loch Ness Monster offers amazing levels of excitement and quality entertainment for the entire family.
The theater is comprised of tiered seating for up to 700 guests. Anchored in the indoor lagoon is an authentically replicated and fully-rigged 18th-century Spanish galleon under night sky lightning, measuring 46 feet long and 18 feet wide with 40-foot masts afloat upon 300,000 gallons of water. The elaborate set provides the backdrop for action, comedy and romance, where the daredevil pirates perform feats of aerial artistry, swordplay and dynamic duals. Surrounding the lagoon is a six-sided showroom of six additional 'ships' where the audience is treated to a delicious four-course meal fit for a Pirate King or Queen. While eating, they’ll enjoy a classic tale of good vs. evil, filled with a perfect blend of intrigue, loyalty, betrayal, hidden treasure, pillaging, hostages, stunts, and plenty of guest participation.
Pirates Dinner Adventure offers two other shows throughout the year. For the month of October, the show transforms into Vampirates. In Vampirates, Captain Sebastian the Black’s dastardly crew of “Vampire Pirates” attempts to defeat the Vampire Hunter. The Vampire Hunter has to attempt to overcome the Vampirates before becoming… their dinner!
The venue is available for private group events and functions. For further information, including show times, group rates or to book your reservations visit Pirate's Dinner Adventure online at www.piratesdinneradventureca.com or call toll free 1-866-439-2469.
