SHARE by Curtis Stone on Princess Cruises!

I was recently invited to Princess Cruises where I discovered SHARE restaurant by Chef Curtis Stone and it was spectacular. We boarded the Princess Cruiseliner and walked up to SHARE restaurant, we were greeted with trays of the ISSAC, which is a delicious drink named after Isaac from the Love Boat! Do you recall The Love Boat? It was one of my favorite tv shows, The Love Boat went on for 10 seasons, until 1987. Here’s a fun fact, when searching for a location for the movie pilot The Love Boat, they discovered Princess Cruises! In 1977 the pilot show was shot aboard the line's original Sun Princess in Mexico. In 1997, all six original Love Boat cast members, Gavin MacLeod (Captain Stubing), Fred Grandy (Gopher), Ted Lange (Isaac), Bernie Kopell (Doc), Lauren Tewes (Julie) and Jill Whelan (Vicki) reunited for the first time in more than a decade to christen Dawn Princess, Princess Cruises in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Back to “The Issac” drink it’s a refreshing love potion, includes white rum a nod to Lange’s favorite cruise destination, the Caribbean, pomegranate syrup, channeling the famous red jacket his character wore and also an aphrodisiac, two pineapple leaves as garnish, tribute to his character’s two-finger signature point, lime juice and club soda, to add some sparkle. Not only is it refreshing but visually pretty.

When traveling with Princess Cruises one of the luxuries found on board is Chef Curtis Stone restaurant SHARE. Trying to get into his LA location might be a tad difficult due to its popularity, so when you’re on board you MUST experience it on the cruise liner. Make sure you make a reservation beforehand and be open to sharing a table, it’s quite momentous, SHARE restaurant is a collective experience. Chef Curtis Stone is not a stranger to be given notoriety for his brilliant culinary cuisines. From Time to Travel + Leisure, his first restaurant, Maude, named "2015 Best Restaurant in L.A." by LA Weekly, is among Los Angeles's most coveted reservations. Exclusively for Princess, SHARE presents his world-class dining as a deliciously distinctive six-course meal unlike anything ashore.

Yes, you read that right, 6 courses. 6 courses of delicious, mouth savoring meal that you will never forget. Go hungry, they are NOT small portions, each plate is mind-blowing and if paired with the right wine (ask your server they’re the expert) you’ll never want your meal to end. You have choices, which I was grateful for, as you know I’m a Pescetarian and upon request, they have Vegetarian dishes. You’ll begin with an appetizer, followed by salad, handmade pasta, then your main course from both sea and land, and finish with a decadent dessert.

Here’s what I loved about SHARE restaurant, setting aside the meal, the restaurant itself was aesthetically beautiful. I loved the long wooden communal table, it’s about bringing people together with food. Complete strangers sitting next to you and by the end of the meal you’ve found new friends. It’s about building connections, exploring new venues with family, friends, and friends to be. Princess guests will discover their senses to be heightened, inspired and excited which will lead them to Come Back New. Can’t wait to hear about your experience on the Princess!
