PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES - GO AND SEE IT!
Thank you Disney for inviting me to a pre-screening of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. What an unbelievably phenomenal movie, I was on the edge of my seat from very start! The moment the movie starts it’s action packed, hold your breath and laugh so hard that you might pee! From the building chase scene, yes, you read that right, a BUILDING chase scene, to the Guillotine circling around, you’ll be in awe of how they were able to pull of such intricate scenes. All the shenanigans Captain Sparrow comes across with his crew is something to see, you wouldn't believe it if I told you.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg, our beloved and comical Johnny Depp, Captain Sparrow is back, a brief heartwarming moment with Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley will have you longing for more with them. Geoffrey Rush with his secret that will stop you in your tracks. You’ll be trying to envision him in his new role that he’s been hiding, but what you’re left with is knowing why his heart has been heavy and you’ll be rooting for him. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales brings us new characters, Javier Bardem, Brenton Thwaites and Kaya Scodelario who are powerful, engaging and loveable, except Javier Bardem, he is what nightmares are made out of.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales introduces us to Captain Salazar played by Javier Bardem. Captain Salazar is dark, vengeful, angry sinister that will captivate you with his dark blood spewing hollow face with particles of his body floating, his essence is powerful. We come to learn that his fury is fueled by none other than Captain Sparrow and our adventures leads us to the Black Pearl. While Captain Sparrow is feeling unlucky, unloved, and a little lost on the path of life Captain Salazar and his terrifying and deadly ghost sailors are on the hunt for him.
Unbeknownst to Captain Sparrow his survival lies on the mythical and legendary Trident of Poseidon. In order to conquer the never before and probably non existent Trident of Poseidon he needs help. He must forge an alliance with Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario), who’s a beautiful, brilliant astronomer, and let me add she’s sought after by the law with a hefty bounty on her head, and Henry (Brenton Thwaites), a headstrong young sailor in the Royal Navy that's wanted by the British for treason. With everything pointing at certain failure, even the Dying Gull Ship gives us no hope. With Captain Sparrow and everyone in tow to break the curse, the Trident of Poseidon will also save Henry’s father Will (Bloom) from the destiny of Davy Jones’ ship.
I loved Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, so much so that it surpassed Pirates of the Caribbean one, which I never thought it could or would. They did such an amazing job from the cinematography, storyline and capturing our hearts, raising our anxiety levels in certain scenes and for me in particular the shark scene had me jumping out of my seat onto my neighbor's lap while letting out the loudest scream that had even myself horrified. Enjoy every bit of it my Matey. x
