8th Annual Milk + Bookies Story Time Celebration.
Each year, Milk + Bookies presents its annual family fundraiser in Los Angeles, The Story Time Celebration. They provide books on-site from which children choose, inscribe and donate to a pre-chosen recipient. They have arts & crafts all made from recycled book pages, costumed characters from your favorite classic tales, plau a celebrity story time & yummy treats! This event is a SUPER BLOW OUT version of the “host your own book-raiser” and our way of celebrating the joys of reading and giving back.
Milk + Bookies Story Time Celebration is a chance for supporters along with their families to share their love of reading and philanthropy with their children. The Story Time Celebration is a fun-filled day that attracts an all-star lineup of celebrity readers and supporters (and their kids!), parents, family friends, and children of all ages. Tickets are $100 per person and approximately 800 guests attend each year. All proceeds raised supports Milk + Bookies national programming and our local Los Angeles initiative, Leaders + Readers.
