ClubMom Mom Fall Fest 2016
The Malibu Cafe at Calamigos Ranch was the backdrop for ClubMom Me Family Fall Fest this year. Calamigos Ranch holds a special place in my heart, we hold a majority of our family events there so attending ClubMom Me Family Fall Fest I knew this was going to be fantastic, everything at the Ranch is exceptional.
Four generations ago the Calamigos Ranch opened its first restaurant on the same spot where the Malibu Cafe Country Kitchen and Bar is located. Owned and operated as it is today, by the Gerson Family, the first (of many) signature items was born; the Calamigos Barbeque Sauce. With their roots planted firmly in the cowboy lifestyle, illustrating the rugged brand of living off the land, Grant and Helen Walter Gerson created what is today known as Calamigos Ranch. Over 50 years later, they would like to welcome us back to Calamigos Ranch for a dining experience wrapped deeply in rustic California heritage, honoring the cowboys and cowgirls that came before us, for a fashion cuisine unlike any other.
Malibu Cafe is a breathtaking dining experience they call Nouveau Barbeque. With signature dishes created generations ago, paired with modern cooking techniques and flavors, they are proud to honor their ancestors and introduce to us a few of the many things that make California timeless, this is The Malibu Cafe at Calamigos Ranch.
ClubMom Me is the ultimate family event, the day was filled with music, soccer, food, ice cream, Peppa Pig and so much more! Family Fest featured new gear from Ergo, we shopped at the Petunia Pickle Bottom's sample sale and viewed their exclusive diaper bag for Fall Fest. if you were part of the first 100 people that arrived you could drop off your stroller with TOT Squad and to get it cleaned, for FREE!
Not only was the day geared towards our kiddos but moms got in on the action also. FabFitFun was on hand with BrowGal to shape our much needed brows, we also had our nails touched up by Nail Garden. The highlight for us mammas was when Lisa Loeb took the stage, talk about our childhood flashback, EPIC. My favorite brands that were there was Brinware, Parasol Co and MonkeyMat, I personally love these products, they have made life so much easier. Brinware for their storage containers that I use for my little ones lunch box. They are colorful, silicone top, easy to wash and store. Monkey Mat Portable Multi-Purpose Mat eliminates the hassle of looking for a blanket(s) for the beach, picnic, any kind of outside play. You drop the mat down and it stays put, once you’re done using the mat, fold it up it in its storage bag, voila, it's packed away! Throw it in your purse and use when needed. Parasol Co is my favorite diaper company. Actually their diapers are so soft and absorbent that they are known as underwear for babies. You must check them out if you have a little one in diapers.
While you were chillaxin, your kiddo was off playing soccer with Super Soccer Stars or getting themselves wet with Pump and Splash, if they weren’t soaking wet, then they huge mess and getting totally dirty in the dirt patch with the trucks, shovel and pails. No if they didn't want to get wet or dirty they could play their favorite instruments with Snooknuk or interact with a princess from Princess and Me Parties. As if that wasn’t entertaining enough The Beat Buds brought the house down with their interactive sing along and play. Are you not entertained yet? Get ready to be blown away, Peppa Pig showed up and stole the show. It was impossible not to entertain the little ones that day, their truly was something for everyone. Thank you sweetgreen, Au Fudge and Fresh Brothers for filling our bellies with your delicious delectables, we were so hungry after all that playing. What a fun filled day filled with adventure and major activities, thank you ClubMom Me for such a wonderful day.
